In this role you will plan, organize and direct all activities of the Materials department, which includes production planning; the acquisition of materials, components and supplies through the coordination of subordinate personnel, the efficient use of resources and the solution of problems inherent to the department.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Advanced Data Analytics & Forecasting skills. Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics, including international trade regulations, logistics, and cultural nuances. APICS Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Certification are desirable. Excellent communication skills in Spanish- English. Proficient in the use of MRP and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) to optimize materials management processes. Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing complex supplier contracts.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
B.S. or equivalent, in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field. 8+ years of general experience in inventory control, production scheduling, purchasing and materials management. APICS certification is desirable. Excellent communication skills in Spanish- English. Ability to optimize resources, labor and costs. Provable experience in project management. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement tools as well as related improvement projects. Experience working under the ISO-9000 standard. Experience in the use of MRP and ERP systems. Strong technical, managerial and leadership skills. Understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing operations. Management of Pull Systems (KanBan).
