Made Possible.** **Materials Management Analyst** We have a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter in our Material Supply Group (MST). The Material Supply group, within Supply Chain, is primarily responsible for inventory management, procurement, and partnering with our Mill team to secure on time delivery of paperboard to our folding carton plants for our Americas group. The Materials Management Analyst should have excellent analytical skills and be comfortable both compiling large amounts of data and utilizing it to make decisions. This position’s responsibilities include effectively and efficiently meeting internal and external customer needs, expectations, and requirements; as well as using data to drive for solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** **Mill Scheduling & Inventory Management:** + Partner with supply chain, mill personnel, and operations to optimize mill efficiency, transportation costs, and run strategies. + Align material supply strategies with broader sales and operations forecasts to ensure seamless production planning and execution. + Support new business growth by ensuring the ability to quickly respond to raw material needs and adjust supply strategies accordingly. + Work closely with internal teams to maximize on-time delivery (OTIF), minimize board inventory and transportation costs, and reduce plant downtime. + Develop and maintain Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to optimize raw material levels at converting facilities. + Utilize SAP MRP systems and Kinaxis RapidResponse to support plants in acquiring paperboard for production orders and customer service reservations. + Reduce aged and obsolete inventory by ensuring manufacturing facilities receive the correct raw materials, balancing cost-effectiveness with customer demand. + Support inventory management initiatives using monthly paperboard usage reporting. **Technology & Data Analysis:** + Utilize SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, QlikView, and Microsoft Office (Excel) for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making. + Manage and interpret large datasets to drive effective supply chain decisions. + Leverage corporate databases and software for a range of supply chain tasks. **Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication:** + Work both independently and collaboratively to ensure all scheduling and daily tasks are completed efficiently. + Engage with internal and external stakeholders including plants, mills, customer service, and sales teams to resolve issues and improve supply chain operations. + Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving. **Continuous Improvement & Training:** + Actively participate in employee certification and re-certification programs. + Contribute to the development and refinement of training materials and process documentation. + Identify and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives in inventory management, SAP/MRP processes, and material automation. + Lead and support projects of varying complexity, scope, and duration. **Required Qualifications & Skills:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. + 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment, with a focus on raw materials procurement and inventory management. + Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse preferred). + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and make data-driven decisions. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis). + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. + Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams. + Familiarity with LEAN / Six Sigma principles is a plus. + Knowledge of paperboard manufacturing is advantageous. + APICS CPIM certification is a plus. _This Job Description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
