Responsibilities Conduct local procurement actions utilizing government credit card procedures. Analyze supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings. Review work order material list for accuracy. Research required supply items for item availability. Utilize forklift for loading and unloading materials. Physical Efforts: Regularly handles items weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted and carries up to 25 feet. Occasionally handles weight up to 60 pounds. Material handling devices and assistance of other workers are available for handling especially heavy items. Heavy exertion is frequent. Constant kneeling, crouching, stooping, walking is required. Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to possible injury associated with handling parts and materials. Work is usually performed indoors in a well-lighted and ventilated production shop area.
