How You’ll Help Us Connect the World

As a Materials Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for supporting Research and Development as part of the Cable and Connectivity Solutions CTO business. You will work closely with Materials Engineering staff to develop test methods for a wide range of fiber optic products used in network applications.  This role will be based in Shakopee, MN.

 

You Will Make an Impact By

Executing planned experimentation diligently Recording, analyzing, and reporting data to enable clear conclusions Contributing new ideas / additional opportunities for improvement both in the materials technology under study and in our methods for processing and evaluating such materials Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration

Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering from an accredited university Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Basic lab and chemical safety awareness Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists)
