Job Summary
The Surgical Services Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing the inventory, procurement, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment within the Surgical Services department. This role ensures the availability of essential materials, maintains inventory accuracy, and collaborates with clinical and supply chain teams to support efficient surgical operations.

Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, or surgical services support required Experience in a healthcare or hospital surgical environment preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of surgical supply chain processes, inventory management, and procurement best practices. Proficiency in inventory management software, electronic health records (EHR), and supply chain systems. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage supply levels effectively. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with clinical and non-clinical teams. Ability to analyze supply usage trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives. Knowledge of hospital policies, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements related to surgical materials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data reporting tools. Commitment to ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in surgical materials management.Licenses and Certifications
CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech required or CRCST - Certified and Registered Central Service Technician required or CMRP - Certified Materials & Resource Professional required
