Purpose Statement

Performs clerical and technical functions to assist material planners in coordinating raw materials for efficient production. Uses MRP system to monitor and track materials from purchasing, processing, warehouse, and production. Input material needs necessary to process orders in the system or database. Will be responsible for and manage purchasing, materials requirement planning, supplier relationship management, product life cycle and service design, among other things. Resolves simple issues or errors and escalate larger problems to necessary supervisors.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes Verifies orders against items on requisitions or invoices. Fills orders from stock based on authorized requisitions. Checks and reports on conditions of goods received or to be shipped. Services customers and provides information. Input and retrieve information. Maintains orders. Notifies leaders of material shortages Schedules and coordinates incoming orders. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience HS/GED required. 1-3 years’ experience with business, accounting, or commercial procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Experience with Purchasing, Scheduling Techniques, material requirements planning, inventory management and supplier relationship management. Knowledge in product and service design Experience working with plant maintenance, inventory management, and risk management. Advanced planning systems
