Materials Analyst 2

The Materials Analyst II is responsible for overseeing and improving materials planning and inventory control processes. This role supports production schedules and ensures the efficient flow of materials and FGI through the supply chain to meet business objectives. The position involves data analysis, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and financial reporting.
What will you be doing?
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time availability of raw materials and components.Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and avoid overstock or shortages.Conduct regular cycle counts and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.Prepare and present regular reports on materials inventory status, materials availability, supplier performance, and key KPIs.Collaborate with finance teams to develop and present cost analyses related to materials and inventory.Generate reports on inventory valuation, material cost variances, and expense tracking.Support budget planning by providing accurate material cost data and insights.Support the implementation of new tools or systems to enhance efficiency.Create and release materials specification.GMP Document ownership assisting in the preparation/revision of SOPS and Material Specifications as needed.Other duties as assigned by Supply Chain management.What will you need to be successful?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain rolesProficiency in ERP/MRP systems, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI), and financial reporting systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and communication abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teamsYou.
