Job DescriptionThe BOMA creates, maintains, and audits material structures, route sheets, and item master planning to administer the company’s Bill of Material documentation for products in accordance with customer specifications
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Acquire the necessary data to coordinate and create raw material and finished goods parts for new materials, new products, work orders, press approvals, trials and machine standardsAnalyse data from customer orders and production runs to update finished goods and raw material parts ensuring obsolete items are appropriately identified and updated in the databaseEvaluate open work orders and promotional products determining priorities to manage inventory, and prevent unnecessary reworksManage internal returns process to ensure returns are processed & dispositioned for rework & resaleOrganize and manage customer DMR process for dispositionReview efficiency standards in the ERP system to ensure accurate inventory evaluation and backlogCompile and update various production reference tools for distribution to ensure accurate and consistent information as it relates to pallet and release quantitiesVerify ERP production data for accuracy and communicate variances as appropriateCoordinate customer service requests and Work in Process priorities to ensure customer’s needs are met while maintaining FIFO inventory standardsExamine work order variances and take necessary action for resolution and closureProvide support in forecasting and evaluating the sources of and amount of wasteActively participate in Continuous Improvement projectsAnalyze data to develop recommendations for process improvements to drive service to customers and reduce costsProvides ad hoc reporting and analysis as requestedWHAT WE VALUE

CompensationThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $49,300 to $61,600; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $49,300 to $73,900 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.BenefitsWhen you join Amcor, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits and compensation package that includes:
