The Opportunity

Reporting to the Material Coordinator, our material administrator will support the daily administrative needs of the materials department at our cambridge fabrication facility.

 

What you'll do here:

Review all submitted tickets to ensure accuracy. Enter new pricing of mechanical materials for all customers.  Assist with weekly invoice runs, verify quantities and pricing and scan to external/internal customers. Ensure for sufficient inventory and process invoicing from Compass to SAP.  Activate customer accounts including; forwarding credit applications to AR, Data OPS to setup in SAP and Compass. Activate new product codes through Master Data. Provide AR customer service to new and existing customers with enquires for invoices or tickets. Upload invoices to SharePoint. Update monthly spreadsheet of inventory purchased. Review monthly statements for inventory vendors. Collaborate with AP to solve any issues with invoices and purchase orders.  Provide customer service to new and existing customers with regards to AP issues and payments. Assist with payroll processing, onboarding new hires and entering weekly hours. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor. 


What you bring to the team:

Minimum 1-year administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry. Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Office. Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Highly motivated, detail oriented and excellent time management skills. Strong communication, organizational and people skills.
