Material Technician I
**Overview** **Now Hiring a Material Technician!** **ROLE:** Monitor all blending equipment for proper and continuous feed operation to the production line(s).Leads the material related activities and is responsible to maintain a safe and well-kept area.Works closely with other members of the team to assure a cooperative and friendly atmosphereregarding the daily activities of production. **PAY:** Starting at $21.65/HR (based on experience) **KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:** + Maintain safe, clean and friendly work environment + Adjust blends within process limitations as directed that will produce various plastic parts, maintaining optimum operating efficiency and uptime + Identify and troubleshoot needed repairs and utilize follow-up procedures of reporting + Effectively generate work orders and document other related downtimes + Work closely with process technician and other support staff to assure maximum quality levels and machine up time + Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and diagrams + Ability to read and understand metric system measurements + Clean and replace filters as needed + Correctly identify all materials + Identify and transport all material to the warehouse area + Drain material systems for Setups and PM’s. + Keep tunnel and compactor area clean and orderly + Ability to work in fast paced environment + Other duties as necessary Our Social Responsibility platform features a robust, employee-led Give Back program, which includes a matching gifts plan, community grants initiative, and our annual Company-wide Month of Action campaign.
