We are seeking a knowledgeable Material Specialist Buildings to manage and oversee the procurement, handling, and quality control of building materials on-site. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in material management within large-scale industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the procurement and delivery of building materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition. Conduct quality control inspections of materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Maintain accurate records of material inventories, usage, and deliveries. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure the availability of required materials. Identify and resolve any issues related to material quality or supply. Develop and implement material management procedures and best practices. Monitor and report on material usage and wastage. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in material handling and storage.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Material Specialist or similar role in large-scale construction projects. In-depth knowledge of building materials, procurement processes, and quality control standards. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Relevant certifications in material management or construction management are preferred. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
