Responsibilities:
Represent Procurement during the proposal process ensuring Procurement output is accurate and complete.Analyzing customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs).Identification and coordination of quote activity; leading multi-functional (and often multi-site) proposal teams.Review input from Procurement personnel for accuracy and audit complianceFollowing submittal of proposal, assist in preparing detailed responses to fact-finding questions and presenting to manager.Planning and management of multiple new and follow-on proposal efforts, usually in parallel, for several programs within SNC.Participate in proposal team meetings.Participate in proposal process improvement activities.Formatting/data input into a compliant proposal PMSW Worksheet with accurate information from Supplier quotes.Using established tools and best practices [and identifying new opportunities] to improve overall proposal quality and efficiency, working closely with Programs, Planning, Procurement, and Pricing.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience. Higher education may substitute for relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationComprehensive written, verbal and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple proposals at one timeAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (including the ability to troubleshoot), and experience creating compliant, high-quality content in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative and customer service-oriented. Works well with cross-functional teams to develop strong relationships, solve problems, resolve conflict and effectively achieve goals.Excellent organization and time management skills required in order to prioritize and meet deadlines across multiple proposals and projects.A high degree of attention to detail and ability to document work products, as proposals must be prepared in compliance with internal procedures and government requirements.Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsPrior experience with proposal estimating or procurementKnowledge of the FAR/DFARS
