Your role and responsibilities

Segment the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy and define inventory policies according to this segmentationCalculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters, safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time and replenishment strategiesCollaborate with buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time and flexibilityWork with operations buyers and GBS to align planning of material with call offs and ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders Manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis, support cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting, conduct financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, conducts root case analysis when necessary Analys excess and obsolete/aging inventory, take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and procurement and logistics closely with other departments to improve the NWC (Net Working Capital)Following all ABB Ethics and OHS instructions, forming and working in synergy in teams with subordinates’ peers and superior

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant fieldKnowledge of industrial sector preferable to be electrical Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-Efficient time management, good leadership capabilities with a team-oriented attitudeWritten and verbal communication skills are essentialExperienced use of different Microsoft programs, SAP experience is a must, people management skills, strong analytical & conceptual skillsFluency in both English & Arabic language is mandatory
