Position Summary

This position supervises the daily activities and time keeping of hourly employees within the warehouse. Coordinates receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment

Role and Responsibilities

Second Shift

1.Provide safe working environment and hold employees accountable for SEHA standards.
2.Monitor accurate storage and picking of all materials within the warehouse.
3.Ensure material is picked up according to the delivery time and distributed to the correct department for production.
4.Manage forklift maintenance orders and keep training records of all forklift drivers.
5.Maintain hourly manpower organization chart and work with HR on filling open positions.
6. Perform EHS chemical training to new hires and ensure compliance by conducting yearly refresher trainings for team.
7. All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Second Shift

1. Associate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
2. Experience:  Typically, 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience
3. Skill and Knowledge: Analytical skills to determine root cause and counter-measures of issues. Ability to learn SAP system functions for Materials Management.
Leadership and communication skills in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
