Job Summary

The Materials Handler II, conducts all activities associated with the kitting and movement of material into and out of the warehouse and other various stocking locations throughout the facility. This includes physical material movement, storage, issuance, cycle counting and kitting of work orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare material for use in Clean Room environment- including parts cleaning, labeling, etc.Perform all activities associated with the posting and completion of manual/electronic recordsHandle all activities associated with maintenance of actual inventory balancesPerform activities in line with ensuring compliant material moves between departmentsPerform daily cycle countsMaterial distribution and issuanceKitting material to production work ordersOrganization of stockroom and PTO material and process

Medical device experience preferredExperience with using an MRP system such as SAP knowledge is preferredLean Manufacturing experience a plusAbility to use a computer using various office tools.Ability to perform basic math skillsAbility to multi task and prioritize dutiesPossess social and interpersonal skillsAttention to detailKnowledge of KanBan material flow. Experience preferredKnowledge of environmentally controlled areas / clean room access protocols.

Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, climb, stoop, kneel crouch. The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and / or move up to 60 lbs with assistance.
