Position Overview:
As part of the talented the Material Handler/Driver/Inventory Control* will be directly reporting to the Receiving Supervisor. This position significantly contributes to Navico Group’s manufacturing and distribution departments and is vital in our efforts of achieving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
Maintenance and reconciliation of inventory levels throughout ERP and WMS systemsProcesses receipt of materials into ERP and WMS systems via purchase orders or documentationPerforms physical count of inventory through documented cycle counting SOPsCompletion of on-site certification for the use and operation of a stand-up, deep reach HiloProper and safe transport of material within the facility utilizing a stand-up, deep reach HiloAssign stock to storage locations including bays/bins, bulk storage, and storage trailersAbility to perform driver tasks including but not limited to order picking, storing/put away, replenishment, vendor picking, and production pickingPerform cycle count checks to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity Pick and palletize inventory by SKU numbers, piece quantity, and/or locationFulfill and load customer orders accurately and timelyEnsure orders being shipped meet customer routing and compliance guides by labelling and arranging product per customer specificationsAbility to use warehouse equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, order picking carts, communication radios, order picker, and sit-down Hilo.Ability to prepare outbound shipments for transportation including identifying proper carrier, gathering weights and dimensions, and placing PRO tracking numbers on palletsWorking safely under OSHA and company guidelines to prevent injury of themselves and others around themAdherence to documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality of work for our customersContributing to the upkeeping of a safe, clean work areaOther duties as required and assigned by managementDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required6 months experience working in a warehouse/distribution environmentPrior stand-up/deep reach Hilo experience Prior familiarity with RF gun technology or related technologies Prior sit-down Hilo and/or Order Picker experience Comprehension of order flow throughout warehouse operations Basic math skillsProven ability to read and reconcile a packing slip against a purchase order and ERP systemExhibited capabilities to calculate numerous units of measure (each, units, cartons, feet, etc.)Proficient capacity to count inventory routinely while maintaining expected accuracy rateDemonstrated ability to operate a stand-up, deep reach HiloDemonstrated ability to perform all affiliated RF gun transactions with corresponding job responsibilities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Demonstrate a positive attitude and resilience. Adapts constructively to pressure, setbacks, challenges, and change to achieve and sustain peak performanceWorks cooperatively and collaboratively within a group, as well as individuallyApproaches others in a tactful manner and treats others respectfully, regardless of their status or position, and accepts responsibility for own actionsWorks with integrity and ethicallyAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. on occasionWorking Conditions:
Standard shift operates Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. Occasional to Frequent daily/weekend overtime based on seasonal and business needsAbility to be on feet for 8-10 hours of each shift in a continuously fluid and fast-paced environmentMust be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.89, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
