**Hiring: Material Handler** **M-Th 5:00am-3:30pm, OT on Fridays when needed** **$20/hr (Direct Experience not Required)** **Job Description** + We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. + This role involves supporting the welders and fabrication department by efficiently moving welded parts and managing inventory transactions. + The ideal candidate will be open to physicality, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Push carts back and forth throughout the department, supporting welders and fabrication. + Collect welded parts to be moved and load/unload parts at the correct location. + Be on feet throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs. + Conduct inventory transactions using a handheld scanner. **Essential Skills** + Experience in inventory, material handling, part picking, or similar position is preferred. + Proficiency in using RF scanning devices. + Effective communication skills in English (speak, read, write, and understand). + Basic counting, adding, and subtracting skills. + Good organization, attention to detail, and time management skills. + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift/carry up to 10 lbs constantly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. + Capability to push/pull up to 100 lbs occasionally. + Perform tasks involving walking and standing for full 8-12 hour shifts. + Frequent use of hands and fingers to pick parts and grip objects, tools, scanner, etc. + Occasionally crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, and reach forward and overhead. + Ability to bend, twist/turn, push/pull, and grasp tools as necessary. + Operate powered equipment as needed. **Work Environment** This role is based in a manufacturing facility that is not air-conditioned, which means it can get hot in the summer. However, the paint department is air-conditioned when delivering or grabbing painting parts. The job involves moving around materials in the fabrication area where the paint line/track goes, so expect to spend time in warmer areas. Suitable attire and comfort with these conditions are necessary. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
