Responsibilities:
Pick finished goods parts from stock location.
Ensure all internal and customer specific paperwork is applied to the loads properly. Will load completed shipments into the trailers.
Use a forklift or other powered equipment to load, unload, stage, stack, move, and count product and materials.
Palletize, package and accurately label product, per customer requirements.
Scan loads using hand-held bar code reader.
Utilizing the Kanban system and internal packaging, will effectively deliver parts to production.
Follow and maintain component parts delivery procedure.
Repackage parts from supplier packaging to AMI packaging, when needed.
Will repack component parts into shipping containers for pass through parts, when needed.
Receive incoming shipments by checking freight damage, freight documents, verifying quantities and completing freight paperwork.
Coordinate with QC receiving inspection and deliver materials for inspection. Once inspection is complete, deliver materials to storage location.
Track and report inventory discrepancies.
Support the container delivery process to production.
Complies with all IATF-16949 requirements.
Ensures all work areas meet 5S standards.
May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Quality / Environmental Roles and Responsibilities:
Follows all procedures and work instructions and make recommendations to improve the process. Notifies Leader immediately upon detecting non-conformance.
Records all non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken and assists in the problem solving process.
Communicates and practices DENSO’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Takes an active role in achieving and maintaining IATF-16949 and ISO-14001.
Knowledge, Skills, and Education Required:
Must successfully complete probationary period. Must successfully complete post-hire training.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Forklift experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
Works primarily in a plant environment. Will spend a significant amount of time driving a forklift truck and/or straight truck. Safety glasses are required. Position requires continual standing, walking and lifting up to 35 lbs.
