Material Handler 2nd Shift

Our client is seeking Material Handlers for 2nd shift, to work 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday - Friday.
A great shift for those of you who like your mornings to handle errands, doctors’ appointments, and such.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Keep track of inventory levels and assist in maintaining accurate records.
• Select items from storage locations based on order requirements and prepare them for shipment.
• Ensure that materials are handled and stored safely to prevent damage and report any discrepancies in inventory.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to fulfill material requirements and resolve issues. • Perform basic maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure proper functioning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Accurate and detail-oriented to maintain precise inventory records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with colleagues.
• Efficiently organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to identify and address issues related to material handling and inventory management.
• Willingness to adapt to changes in work assignments and schedules.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role may be preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
**Pay Details:** $12.00 per hour
