MATERIAL HANDLER
PLYMOUTH INDIANA – PLYMOUTH WAREHOUSE

 

As a member of the materials team, the Material Handler will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload freight trailers and locate and order all product within the facility.  

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner with fork truck. Pull, stage and scan freight for shipments, and run paperwork and load scan as required. Ensure customer requirement are fulfilled in reference to packaging, banding, labeling, and wrapping. Ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Use scanners and systems to print shipping and receiving labels and maintain correct product location. Verifying all in and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Cycle counting and periodic inventory. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED  Ability to count accurately and perform simple math. Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Ability to get on and off a fork truck throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

 

Bonus If You Have:

 Experience in a warehouse environment  Fork truck experience
