You will be a Material Expediter for our team, responsible for performing technical supply management work related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Our team is responsible for managing the flow of materials and parts throughout our facility, and we're looking for a skilled professional to join our team.



What You Will Be Doing

As a Material Expediter, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of tasks related to inventory management, storage management, and property utilization. You will work in the tool room and bench stock, and will be responsible for locating and moving materials and parts between work areas, maintaining inventory, and managing calibrated assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Locating and moving materials and parts between work areas to expedite processing of goods
• Maintaining inventory of aircraft tools, HAZMAT, test equipment, and other items
• Managing calibrated assets, ordering and re-ordering, and VMI management
• Checking tools in and out of the tool room, and maintaining inventory of consumable and expendable items
• Managing parts and kits via ERP System, and working with material planners to resolve discrepancies
• Receiving, warehousing, and shipping parts as needed
• Assisting with tours and providing overviews of storage area functions
• Posting work in process transactions in GOLD to capture movement of parts between storage area and repair shops

This position is in Crestview, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-2 years’ experience working in a Logistics / Supply Warehouse environment
-Knowledge of DoD Supply Chain Processes and procedures and company practice.
-Knowledge of DoD Logistics terminology.
-Ability to obtain a 10K forklift license
-Must have a valid driver's license and have the ability to drive a box truck
-Must be proficient in Microsoft software programs in order to research, develop and create documents.
-Ability to obtain a secret security clearance therefore the candidate must be a US citizen.
-Inventory management experience
-Basic knowledge of aircraft parts or tools
-Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
-Team player
-Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
-Self-starter with the ability to perform with minimal supervision
Desired Skills:
-GOLD experience
-DoD supply processes.
-TCMAX experience
-SAP experience
-Logistics experience with the DoD.
-Air Force ES-S System Air Force Logistics experience
-Familiarity with Fedlog / Webflis
-Experience interpreting Aircraft Tech Orders IPB
-Logistics Shipping / Receiving experience
-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced maintenance environment
-Customer Service oriented

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
