The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Material Coordinator – Calibration; Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall be responsible for conducting various tasks to include TMDE Asset tracking, yearly maintenance scheduling, repair orders, data collection, repairs, and add or delete to U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA), Test Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Integrated Materiel Management System (TIMMS) Listing. Shall be familiar with Army regulation 750-43. Shall maintain files of TMDE assets in an internal database. Shall follow all internal & external procedures/SOPs. Shall input and track the monthly report from USATA and record accordingly. Shall perform on-site pick-up and delivery of TMDE assets throughout the Center. Shall perform on-site pick-up and delivery of TMDE assets to the APG-North USATA Lab (TSL). Shall assist with proper labeling of devices to include, DA Label 80, DA Label 163 (Limited or Special Calibration), Calibration Not Required (CNR), and Calibration Before Use (CBU) labels. Shall track and record USATA “On-Site” (Center) testing and scheduling. May require escorting of USATA Technician. Shall track third-party ISO Certification Testing of CBC TMDE Assets. Shall keep, file, and record all TMDE (USATA & ISO) Calibration Certificates. Shall perform database entry and cataloging within internal database. Shall follow directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership while also able to work independently and as part of a team and adhere to policies. Shall support customer schedules in scheduling repairs and annual requirements. Shall maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard. Shall support excellence in customer service and deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customer while having the ability to work collaboratively to build professional working relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and customers. Shall identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other required stakeholders. Shall assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested. Shall provide and assist with required monthly data to Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all related matters. Shall make sure that all administrative functions/paperwork is in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format. Shall be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail. Shall support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of (2) Years of Calibration (TMDE) Experience, Associates of Arts Degree, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s Licenseor
Minimum of (4) Years of Calibration (TMDE) Experience, High School Diploma/GED, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s Licenseor
Served in the US Military and retained a Logistics – Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in a related capacity for a Minimum of (3) Years, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s LicensePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Mostly Stationary; The work environment occurs primarily in an office setting (60%) of the time. The Technician is required to retrieve, deliver for testing, and return TMDE Assets (40%) of the time that can occur in all types of weather, warehouses, and labs and could require both bending and standing positions. Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
