Job Description
EBAD is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to support aerospace & defense product lines. The Master Scheduler will manage the production schedule and coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure the timely completion of upstream activities to support the on-time execution of downstream production activities. This position will report directly to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
Leads all work scheduling actions ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to drive material and capacity requirements including planning adjustments resulting from un-planned demand, forecast shortfalls, production and inventory changes, and changes in customer demand. Acts as the communication conduit between the program office and operations to ensure seamless flow of information from the customer to the shop floor and from the shop floor to the customer.Maintain detailed schedules for all open and planned orders using software such as Microsoft Project and Excel.Interact with customers and internal team members across multiple functions to maintain level loaded scheduling across operations.Manage, track, and update work progress on our Production Visual Boards.Actively contributes and participates in our team meetings.Manages and maintains the production schedule for all programs.Reviews new customer orders and determines feasible delivery dates.Coordinates and closely monitors the timely release of jobs as well as ensuring a continuous flow of material kits to the shop floor for un-interrupted production.Tracks Kanban levels for shop floor materials and any material kits to ensure the production team has all required materials for manufacturing.Facilitate and if needed expedite parts through Receiving Inspection, Test, Final Inspection, and various internal manufacturing processes.Leads internal weekly revenue meetings and captures actions to ensure revenue is maintained as planned. Work with cross functional team members to ensure all actions are completed to achieve planned revenue.Support and participate in monthly SIOP meetings. Provide input for operations planning and scheduling. Review forecasted/proposed programs during SIOP and verify that production capacity will be available to support the future programs.Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree, technical discipline is preferred5+ years of experience in a production scheduling or program scheduling role in a manufacturing environment, aerospace experience is preferredAstute, highly motivated and organizedSolid written and verbal communication skillsComputer literate, able to use MS Office application software including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust be capable of learning our ERP system (IFS)Compensation:
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
