We are seeking a Master Scheduler - Aftermarket at our Rotoflow, an Air Products business Aftermarket facility in Houston, TX. This position requires 5% domestic / global travel.

Rotoflow™ is a full-service turbomachinery OEM - providing a wide-range of new equipment solutions and aftermarket services to our customers globally in market segments such as industrial gases, petrochemicals, and hydrocarbons!

The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating schedules, scheduling orders, planning engineering and shop activities, aggregating information for resource planning, reporting of on-time delivery metrics, and helping to drive improvements in the speed of execution and fulfillment of orders.

Provide scheduling input for proposals that anticipate order timing, supplier availability, and future order execution resource availability to ensure quoted lead-times are appropriate for quoted scope, achievable, and exceed customer speed expectations,

Work with Proposal and Project teams at order handoff to convert customer expectations into detailed and achievable order schedules with areas of scheduling risk highlighted and appropriate mitigation options to achieve on-time delivery are articulated and put in place,

Collaborate with other Rotoflow scheduling personnel to ensure plans and priorities are aligned especially as resources and production are flexed to support aftermarket orders,

Prepare, approve changes, and publish weekly the engineering and production master schedules,

Prepare medium to long-range capacity and manpower forecasts based on current and future work and make resourcing recommendations with input and direction from appropriate functional leads,

Make recommendations and help drive implementation of scheduling tools and processes

Reduce waste associated with scheduling and planning or lack thereof, looking for and implementing continuous improvements,

Supporting Leadership with compiling key performance metrics for the Aftermarket Business to gain greater insight into business performance, as it relates to scheduling and production planning.

Required Skills / Abilities:

Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of resource and production planning experience with discrete equipment manufacturing or similar

Experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project

Knowledge of SAP Production Planning module is preferred

Certifications such as PPM, APICS, ASM, or related are a strong plus

Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal direction, meet deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and written and oral communication skills

Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects or tasks

Proven ability to learn and understand the specifics of the processes and inter-related steps that are required to fulfil a variety of orders, from design, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing

Mechanical aptitude either from past work experience or through personal hobbies a plus

Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
