The Materials Management Organization is a cornerstone of the Production Site Kaiseraugst including the management of production planning, detailed scheduling, materials planning and master data. As a Master Production Scheduler, you will be part of Kaiseraugst’s Planning Community reporting directly to a Planning Community Lead.
As Master Production Scheduler, you are responsible for the production plan of the products filled within the Site’s assets. Your role is to resolve all conflicts related to assets or products that rise during your responsible planning horizon.
In this role, you will coordinate with Global and Site functions in order to tackle short/mid term conflicts to promptly address potential backlog/stockout situations and to optimize the usage of our Site resources.
The Opportunity:Developing and maintaining efficient integration and cooperation with Manufacturing Units, Local Support Functions and Global Supply Chain Functions
Drive optimization by proactively balancing demand priorities against optimal production and efficient resource utilization (i.e. equipment, staff, materials, etc.) within the respective horizon
Revise and maintain detailed planning and scheduling parameters (i.e. calendars, efficiency, utilization, fixed horizon etc.) in the planning system to allow efficient use of system volume planning and detailed scheduling functionality
Proactively communicate on all levels and resolve conflicts related to equipment capacity, staff capacity, materials requirements to optimally mitigate network capacity risks
Who you are:A Supply Chain professional with a University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field and 5 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry
You are a strong team player with demonstrated abilities to think through the process, considering upstream and downstream stakeholders and using the process optimally to achieve results
You use improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean) to analyze and resolve problems focusing on the efficiency and simplification of processes
You have excellent communications skills in English and German and the ability to optimally communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
You take the initiative, embrace new opportunities, convey sense of urgency and are not afraid to take over or lead new responsibilities and/or challenges
