We are seeking a skilled Master Planner to develop and execute master production schedules (MPS) that align with customer demand and production capacity. You will plan, monitor, and control material requirements using MRP/ERP systems to ensure timely availability. Additionally, you will analyze demand trends, material usage, and production schedules to optimize inventory levels and reduce obsolescence risks.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and align inventory strategies with product turnaround times.
+ Ensure products are fulfilled according to inventory strategies.
+ Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability while mitigating obsolescence risks.
+ Conduct regular inventory analysis to manage slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock.
+ Communicate inventory analysis and strategy to the business, highlighting areas of improvement.
+ Collaborate with procurement teams to maintain supplier relationships and secure timely delivery of materials.
+ Share demand trends and forecasts with suppliers to improve lead times.
+ Monitor supplier performance and address material availability issues.
+ Drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with key stakeholders.
+ Identify and resolve constraints to ensure seamless production flow.
+ Define and report on KPIs related to orders, materials, and jobs.
+ Focus continuous improvement efforts based on KPI trends.
+ Identify opportunities to enhance material planning processes and supply chain efficiency.
+ Implement best practices in materials management using advanced tools and techniques.
+ Act as a liaison between production, procurement, logistics, and other departments.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in materials planning or supply chain management within the electronics/computer industry.
+ Proficiency in Infor Syteline APS ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
+ Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
+ Process- and detail-oriented approach.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
+ Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem resolution.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ APICS certification (e.g., CPIM or CSCP) is highly desirable.
+ Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $46.00/hr.
