Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate maintenance of Master Data records within all relevant systems. This role involves managing the Master Data lifecycle, providing guidance to others regarding Master Data, and ensuring data quality assurance. The Specialist will also contribute to production process optimization by participating in sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of new production processes/products. The specialist will operate Master Data lifecycle (Master Data creation, update and archive/deletion processes) by following the standards and quality requirements of the domain. This is an on-site position based in Mebane, NC. This role is contributing to the Electrification Services Division in the United StatesYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tEnsures Master Data is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems within scope of responsibility. •\tAssists in the overall solution to quality issues by participating in the elimination of non-conformance and adopting the approach of \"doing it right the first time.\" •\tParticipates in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. •\tDocuments, reviews, and updates all work procedures pertaining to all aspects of system maintenance. Prepares technical documentation regarding process phases, related methods, and cycle times.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelors Degree in STEM with at least 2 years of experience, or a combination of 7+ years of experience and education.2+ years of working in a manufacturing environmentData analysis and reportingProject managementEngineering and manufacturing processesCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
