Position Summary:

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for supporting Sales and Manufacturing sites with the maintenance of product master data, to ensure accurate and speedy provision of approved products for R&D, Operations and Sales. They will maintain quality product master data by following global SOPs/Work Instructions/Trainings for NPI new item creation, extension of items to additional sites/systems, and changes to product master data for legacy items. 

They act as a key member of the global Master Data Management team, enabling growth within Hach. This role can be performed in any Hach site or remote, as applicable. 

Key responsibilities:

Complete master data creation of new products in PLM/ERP within agreed SLAs Complete master data extension of existing products PLM/ERP within agreed SLAs Complete master data updates of existing products PLM/ERP within agreed SLAs Daily monitoring and administration of workflows to ensure requests get completed within defined SLAs Daily support to sites with product master data queries and problems Regular review of product master data records to ensure compliance with global policies  Data analysis and execution of mass maintenance requests Develop and conduct communication and training to stakeholders 

                               

Education and Background

Fluent in English and ChineseMin. 1 years of experience in a Master Data or related role, min. 2 years of experience in industrial processes Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with PLM (Agile PLM) and ERP systems (Oracle EBS/Cloud) Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry and checking Good communication skills (written and oral) Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills GCSE level or equivalent
