Massage Therapist (Full-Time) The Roosevelt Hotel New Orleans

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:

\n\n

Performs and provides body treatments and massages for spa guests.

\n\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

\n\n

 Performs body treatments and massages for guests and maintains treatment rooms and supplies.

\n\n

Completes and turns in payroll weekly and attends monthly departmental meetings. Attends all Hilton trainings as required.

\n\n

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

\n\n

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

\n\n

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

\n\n

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

\n\n

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

\n\n

• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

\n\n

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

\n\n

 

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION

\n

High school graduate or GED.

\n

EXPERIENCE

\n

2 years in massage therapy practice or in resort spa as a therapist preferred. Previous customer service experience preferred.

\n

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

\n

Must have a licence.

\n

GROOMING/UNIFORMS

\n

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.
