The Automation & Process Excellence (APEX) team, within CIB Securities Operations, is dedicated to delivering cutting edge automation and workflow tools to manage and measure our work and develop a diverse workforce ready to adapt to change. The team acts as an internal consulting team, innovating and collaborating across various lines of business and bringing a mix of process re-engineering, project management, functional and technical expertise to drive digital transformation across operations.
Role Description:
The candidate joining our group will be expected to participate in high-impact strategic and tactical initiatives with senior leadership visibility. The engagement will focus on the automation and reengineering of manual processes belonging to internal clients in Securities Operations as well the contribution to continuous improvement of internal team processes.

The role and responsibilities of Process Automation Associate within the CIB Securities APEX Team will include the following:
Collaborate across multiple LOBs to drive, deliver and maintain an automation book of work Perform reviews of teams and their processes and work with SMEs to develop and deploy reengineering and automation solutions Prepare management reports to drive prioritization of various automation initiatives Develop automation tool skillset and script/promote agile solutions Create meaningful dashboard analytics to track process improvement key performance indicators (KPIs)
Skillset:
Bachelor's Degree (technical/quantitative field preferred) 3+ years of Professional Experience. (Financial services preferred) Working knowledge of automation and data analysis tools such as Python, Alteryx, and UiPath In lieu of above experience, candidates with coding experience are also encouraged to apply Practical experience with AI/LLM use cases is a plus Ability to quickly learn new tools and concepts and teach them to internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to work independently or work in a group setting. Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to organize, prioritize and manage personal work against competing demands. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, varying across different points of the Project Lifecycle. Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills. Owns and contributes to activities both within and outside direct remit.
