“A Day in the Life”

As Marketing’s sole summer intern, you will support all of our business units and internal teams, with a primary focus on content development, leveraging emerging technology. You will apply your creativity, digital expertise, and content creation skills to elevate our customer experience and develop valuable tools, insights, and documentation that attracts and assists customers in making informed decisions.

Your primary objective is to enhance our online presence, drive engagement, and execute compelling content - all the while working in a dynamic and fast-paced distributed environment. One day, you might be crafting an urgent email campaign, and the next, you're developing a podcast for our largest division. Flexibility, self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset are key. Your data-driven decisions will contribute to tangible business outcomes, an enhanced customer experience, and expanded digitally initiated revenue.

“What You’ll Do”

You will serve as our content marketing development lead.Develop high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including website, email, social media, search, and display. Work closely with our digital team to magnify impact.Engage Brand Marketing to identify needs. Leverage strategy to prioritize content.Coordinate with Brand Marketers, Creative Services, and cross-functional teams to design customer-centric experiences to implement trends and best practices.Partner with Digital Marketing’s Emerging Technology and AI team to leverage augmentative tools.Possibly engage outside agencies as needed (Jade Global, Nicholas Creative, etc.) to oversee work product and throughput.Spearhead our content marketing strategy to increase rankings, visibility & engagement.Partner with our SEO lead to implement impactful strategies using your expertise and the above noted resources.Support ad hoc content marketing initiatives.Utilize data analytics and customer analytics to evaluate effectiveness. Implement data-driven optimizations to improve results.Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.Serve as our content marketing development lead for the summer.Develop high-quality, engaging content across multiple channels, including:WebsiteBlogsEmail marketingSocial MediaSearch & display advertisingPodcasts & videosWhite papers & case studiesInfographicsEngage Brand Marketers to identify needs and align content with strategic priorities.Collaborate with Creative Services and cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences and implement best practices.Spearhead SEO-driven content strategies to increase rankings, visibility & engagement.Utilize data analytics & customer insights to measure content performance and drive continuous improvement. Partner with our Emerging Technology & AI team to use augmentative tools.Collaborate with Digital Marketing to train and effectively leverage new technology.Apply AI-driven tools to develop and optimize marketing content at scale.Evaluate emerging digital marketing tools and provide feedback for real-time upgrades.Identify new opportunities for process enhancements and recommend improvements.The Marketing Team requires flexibility. We operate in a dynamic environment, with ever-changing requests and opportunities. A “no two days are the same” mentality should be expected. As such, you will almost certainly support initiatives outside your core area of responsibility when additional support needs arise. Being a team player and getting the job done are two of the most important traits this role requires.Support dynamic marketing initiatives that arise due to shifting priorities.Assist with social media engagement & content scheduling across various platforms.

“Must Haves“

“Nice to Have“

Experience or coursework in digital marketing, content creation, or data analytics.Enterprise B2B services experience preferred (rental industry focus is a plus).Knowledge of SEO standards is also valued.

The specific pay rate and level, if applicable, will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience and location.
