About this opportunity:

Design Within Reach is looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative individual to help us grow the DWR business. This individual will be responsible for managing marketing efforts across channels for key sales and promotions, as well as cross-departmental communication.                            


What you'll do:

Promotions: Independently manage omni-channel marketing campaigns to support robust promotional calendar, with clear audiences and goals to drive performance. Contribute learnings and suggestions to leadership team for promotional planning. Own the communication of promotional timing, discounts, product focuses, and other details to all cross-functional teams and partners.  Strategize marketing campaigns and messaging to drive results. Review all creative for accuracy.Channels: Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as digital, social media, merchandising, PR and creative to implement and execute campaigns across channels.Briefs: Independently write and kickoff thorough briefs to channel and creative teams for all promotions. Support Senior Marketing Manager in drafting other seasonal campaign briefs as needed.Calendar: Manage promotional and campaign calendar for all cross-functional teams to reference. Work closely with project managers to initiate follow up and track timelines and key deliverables to ensure projects are progressing and completed on schedule.Communication: Lead internal communications of all DWR marketing efforts to cross-functional teams to provide transparency throughout the organization, including communication to store teams.Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and input creative solutions to drive processes improvements, especially related to large scale marketing activations and events.Event Support: Assist PR & events team with planning and production of brand-led and store-led events.

Requirements:

3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in multiple channels at a retail, entrepreneurial or digitally-native business.Experience managing a budget.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Understanding of office software such as Airtable and Wrike, and comfort with learning new applications.A drive to constantly improve processes and find new, better ways to work efficiently.Willingness and excitement to be flexible and helpful across multiple parts of the business.Motivated self-starter with high energy level, a passion for design and a willingness to do what it takes to create great work.Works well in a highly collaborative environment.Extremely organized and efficient, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects at once, meeting tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
