The Marketing Specialist is tasked with a broad variety marketing activities and operates within a deadline driven environment. The role of the Marketing Specialist is to market products by developing and implementing marketing, promotional and advertising campaigns; managing vendors and co-op programs/funds; tracking sales data; planning meetings and trade shows; conducting research; preparing reports and presentations.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions
Assist with developing comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns to achieve business objectives.Collaborate with marketing team to create compelling content for marketing materials including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing. Assist with managing social media accounts and engage with followers to increase online presence and promote brand awareness. Conduct market research and analysis. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics. Assist in the planning and execution of events and promotional activities including attendance at customer events or conferences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including eCommerce and Sales ensure creative alignment across all channels. Plan, design, and develop effective presentations for internal and external use.Support the execution of day-to-day delivery of email marketing campaigns, newsletters, invitations, event materials etc. Maintain effective working relationships with vendors to obtain promotional and marketing materials.Process and track co-op programs.Ensure that all creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines.Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to innovative solutions to marketing efforts. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsEssential Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or related field required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent computer skills, at a minimum candidate must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
