Role Description:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for providing support to various marketing projects including implementing marketing campaigns, product launches, website designs, and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing best practices as they relate to business and providing support to senior leadership to create and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the Homes.com products and services.   
  

This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers the following schedule:

4 days onsite / 1 day remote


Responsibilities:   

Support senior management with conducting market research, monitoring industry trends and customer behaviors, helping identify target audiences 

Assist with the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns, including supporting leaders who create engaging content that will attract the right audience 

Help leaders and coworkers to ensure regular web content updates are performed and checking content for accuracy and consistency 

Assist with email marketing and social media campaigns 

Stay up to date with social media and marketing trends and best practices 

Handle customer service issues, high-priority escalations, resolutions, and proactively communicate issues  

Confidently balance daily and weekly deadlines with department initiatives, utilizing multiple tools  

Take on any other responsibilities that may arise  

  
Basic Qualifications:   

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, Communication or related discipline from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College required.  

1+ years of general marketing experience 

Possess excellent writing and communications skills (sentence structure, grammar, varied vocabulary, spelling, style, strong typing speed with high accuracy, and attention to detail)  

Deadline-driven and detail-oriented attitude   

Ability to use independent judgment combined with the identity of the customer to highlight the customer’s brand and voice with end consumers  

Have a customer-first attitude and the ability to adapt your writing voice to various audiences  

Computer proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
