Your role and responsibilitiesABB is a global technology leader in electrification and automation, enabling a more sustainable and resource-efficient future. You will complete the rotational program with Smart Buildings and Smart Power business units of ABB's Electrification Business Divisions (ELSBSP). ELSBSP are dedicated to developing innovative products, solutions, and digital technologies to enhance energy efficiency across various industries and build a low-carbon society. With the growing global demand for power and building automation, the Smart Power and Smart Building business units, comprising approximately 24,500 employees across 64 manufacturing sites worldwide, collaborate with customers and partners to transform the way people live, travel, and work. You will participate in a June orientation with all other Discovery Program participants. This 24-month rotation program is designed for early talent training, personal and professional growth, and networking. It contents different rotations focused on developing inside product & quality, sales & marketing, leaderships skills and ABB product knowledge. A program manager will be there to support you throughout your journey. Project Introduction:•\tExperience three job rotations within 24 months and deeply immerse yourself in the workplace environment of ABB's Electrical Business Division.•\tDiscover your interests and different functions/roles through challenging and impactful tasks and fully integrate into the team while undertaking these tasks.•\tAccelerate your growth with comprehensive support from training and development programs, technical training, mentors, and the ABB Discovery Program team.•\tActively participate in various social and team activities, and seize this opportunity to build an extensive global network within ABB.•\tDevelop your own strengths through regular performance feedback and clear performance goals.In the 3 rotations period, you will have chances to work in the various function including: •\tWork in Product Management/Quality/Order Handling Department to get to familiar with the product, operation and business process. •\tWork in Product marketing department to work on the new product launch and analysis, focused product business development and product marketing plan •\tWork in sales function to introduce our product to customers and provide technical support, coordinate the internal resource to serve our customers and follow up sales opportunities and orders
Qualifications for the role\tMaximum 3 years of professional work experience \tBachelor's degree or above, major in engineering such as electrical or mechanical engineering.\tMotivation to acquire new skills and knowledge\tEntrepreneurship and innovative, can think out of box\tStrong ownership \tStrong analytical skill and system thinking, strong interpersonal skill\tProficient written and verbal communication skills in English \tStrong team player\tHave flexibility to travel or take on short assignments in different cities within the domain of China.
