Turkey is one of the key countries within the EssilorLuxottica Wholesale META region with high growth expectations. The Lens Business Brand Manager position has been newly created with the objective of enhancing the complete vision care value proposition within the internal organization as well as to our retail customers and end-consumers.   Your role This role will report to Marketing Director Turkey Frames & Lenses and will be supported by an Assistant Brand Manager.  S/He will be a key support to drive the lenses category and to implement the marketing strategies for the market. Moreover, the position will be business focused and hence will work closely with many key stakeholders from business/sales to supply chain/operations teams. Finally, s/he will also manage a team of Medical Reps, whose main function is to visit ophthalmologists and educate them on our premium lenses & latest technologies.   This role is dedicated to Lenses & Instruments Category. On Lenses, you will be focused mainly on the “yellow” network, including Vision Art (BBGR), Nikon, Kodak amongst other brands.     Your missions   Responsible of the lens & instruments division with the main objective to drive growth & value. Together with the marketing director, defines the lens category & portfolio strategy and sets overall brand targets while working on positioning, distribution, and pricing strategy for the brands in her/his responsibility. Implements the local strategy and marketing plans for country following both Global/META guidelines while advocating and supporting market needs.  Marketing strategy & plan includes mainly B2C or B2B trade marketing, activations, promotions, events, buying days/fairs & training. Media/social media & website management will be a minimal part of the scope within the framework of the Turkish legislation related to medical devices Responsible for the analysis & monitoring of lens brand performances to support the definition of the local strategy & action plan (incl. corrective actions in case of gaps) Makes monthly/yearly unit forecasts together with sales, finance, and supply chain teams Prepares weekly/monthly performance reviews. Develops & implements the go-to market plan of new technology and product launches in the market Together with the marketing director, s/he manages & proactively proposes solutions to develop and enhance the marketing processes Prepares the marketing budget by lens brand (trade, media, training) aligned with company targets. During the year, s/he supervises and follows up the marketing budget allocated and monitors the successive updating and revision phases, Gives support and strategic guidance from a brand perspective to the commercial & medical reps team by giving and taking frequent feedback especially from the field teams Regular competitor analysis Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Support the marketing director in the Lens category vision and strategize action plans Implement with your direct reports the marketing action plan Drive & monitor the medical reps division Be business centric and be able to work closely with the many stakeholders, with a focus on sales teams.   Your profile     Degree in Marketing or Business. At least 5 years experience in Marketing Department, preferably with proven working experience as Brand / Category Manager within matrix organizations, ideally gained in pharmaceutical / optical industry Experience in management Fluency in English AND Turkish is a must for this role Able to influence stakeholders, someone who can manage uncertainty, open to challenges and to foster change. Passionate about building brands and activating the marketing mix Can-do attitude with high level of energy and learning aptitude Data Analysis and Reporting: Full level of competence / mandatory #LI-BD1
