Job Description
Key Responsibilities Include:
+ Develop, implement, and evaluate promotional programs and assets aligned to the brand plan, including field facing resources, Peer to Peer Education, consumer communications, etc.
+ Partner with Medical, Regulatory and Legal (MLR) team to develop assets for internal and external use.
+ Monitor, analyze and distill insights from all sources of market and brand data.
+ Conduct business performance analysis on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Diagnose obstacles to brand growth and work collaboratively to provide solutions.
+ Drive collaborative and productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Lead and manage Sample program.
+ Perform budget tracking and management of invoices tied to brand activities.
+ Conduct routine field travel with the sales force, attend sales meetings, ad boards, etc. as needed.
+ Manage internal/external networks, consultants, and agency partners.
+ Participate in key cross-functional teams.
+ Communicate up, down, and laterally in an effective manner. Prepare presentations for and present to leadership on a regular basis.
+ Serve as a proactive contributor to AbbVie Eye Care EED&I initiatives and team culture.
+ This role can be hired as a Grade 18 or 19. Candidate's experience will determine grade.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 2-5+ years of marketing experience in a regulated industry (pharmaceuticals, medical device, diagnostics, finance, transportation); or
+ 2-5+ years of consulting experience leading cross-functional projects
+ Strong understanding and experience in previous role using Excel to conduct analytics
+ Experience supporting regional marketing and/or sales analytics efforts
+ Demonstrated ability to operate quickly and decisively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and demanding environment
+ Proficiency in managing external agencies across various disciplines and internal cross-functional partners
+ Strong leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
+ Resilient – demonstrates ability to “find a way” with documented results of successful execution
+ Discerning – demonstrates ability to synthesize data to generate insight
+ Accountable – demonstrates ability to reflect and learn from mistakes with high emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Preferred:
+ Analytics and data science background/experience with an understanding of data management
+ Excellent overall business acumen including budget planning and management
+ Pharmaceutical commercial experience, marketing preferred
+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing matrix partners
+ Ability to foster strong relationships with senior management and external partners
+ MBA and or equivalent advanced degree

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $103,500 - $197,000
