Marketing Manager (Breast Cancer Franchise)

Currently, in support of our Breast Cancer Franchise, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to contribute to AstraZeneca's commercial success by developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans that enable sustainable, profitable, and competitive positioning of AstraZeneca's breast cancer products.

Main Responsibilities

Marketing strategy

Design and implement operational and strategic plans, both in the short and long term, aligned with key targets (product, sales, market share, profitability), in close collaboration with key internal stakeholdersConduct and effectively leverage multiple analyses and research (e.g., customer segmentation, market and competitor analysis, developments in the pharmaceutical sector) to optimize the strategy and ensure effective implementationDevelop and implement alternative plans and strategies proactively in response to major changes in the market environment (regulatory, reimbursement, competitive landscape, etc.)Collaborate effectively across key functions (e.g., Medical, Commercial, Diagnostics, Market Access) with strong leadership and vision to execute a bold, long-term strategy for AstraZeneca's breast cancer portfolio

Analysis, planning, and financial management

Ensure consistent, timely, and accurate forecasting (revenues, costs) to achieve optimal P&L outcomesLead key local and regional forecasting processes, aligned with AstraZeneca's requirements and timelinesEvaluate commercial potential (market and product) using internal and external tools, resources, data, and patient journey modelsEnsure product availability through precise supply planning

Cross-functional team leadership

Foster open and effective collaboration and build partnerships with the Field Sales Team to ensure smooth execution of the marketing strategyCoordinate and lead cross-functional Brand Team activities, with the ability to influence and contribute meaningfully to the strategies of other functions (Market Access, Communications, Diagnostics, Medical)

Stakeholder management

Develop strategies for communicating with key external stakeholders to ensure the competitive positioning of the product portfolio and AstraZeneca's reputation as a leading, innovative company in the breast cancer therapeutic areaEstablish and manage strong partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Proficiency in written and spoken English (minimum B1); Polish as a native languageMaster's degree in Marketing, Management, Medicine, Bioscience, or another relevant fieldA minimum of 4 years’ experience in a brand management role within an innovative pharmaceutical company (specialty care)Strong leadership and business influence skills, including the ability to mentor and manage team membersCustomer-oriented personality, team-player attitude, and a "play to win" mindsetHighly developed planning, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work with advanced forecasting modelsStrategic mindset with a capacity to create long-term visions for products and portfoliosProven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, both locally and regionallyExcellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)Advanced proficiency in MS Office applicationsHigh integrity and adherence to ethical standardsOpen and innovative mindset, with a willingness to integrate diverse approaches (e.g., AI, digital, omnichannel) into the marketing strategy

Desirable:

Experience in people management (sales or marketing)Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of the healthcare sector and a broad perspective beyond commercial rolesExperience in oncology, particularly in breast cancerDemonstrated success in leading launch campaigns within the oncology segment
