In order to be considered the following is required:
Preferably, a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
At least 5+ years in a generalist marketing role, preferably within the technology industry
Strong understanding of marketing principles and designing and implementing marketing strategies
Experience in market research, brand management, and product marketing, as well as budget management and performance tracking across multiple channels
Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
Proficient in digital tools such as (CRM)
Knowledge and reference of market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor analysis
Expertise in content marketing, branding and campaign management
Familiarity with data analytics for optimising marketing efforts
Experience with Business to Business (B2B) marketing strategies
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy: Develop a comprehensive marketing and business development strategy, including actionable plans and tactics for implementation. Focus on creating value by building strong client relationships and identifying potential new clients to drive growth opportunities Market research: Support the CEO by delivering a market analysis report with a focused Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) models, include insights on target suppliers, customers and markets to focus on locally and regionally – identifying where to play, growth drivers and strategies to build a niche Competitor analysis: Assist the CEO and management team to understand how to unlock the payments value chain by getting a good understanding of the other players in the market and where the opportunities for business can be unlocked Strategic stakeholder management: Facilitate the introduction and/or where appropriate, manage and act as liaison person, between clients and key external stakeholders in our network, who can add value from a marketing value chain perspective, for example, marketing agencies or strategic partnership alliances Business Development: Proactively pursue new business opportunities by following up on leads and preparing tailored business proposals and request for proposals (RFPs) Brand Management: Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy to maintain a strong brand identity that aligns with company values. Oversee the company’s social media presence, website and online reputation to ensure consistent messaging and positive brand perception Work with the Technical Lead, Project Manager and Legal team to understand payment standards for Marketing collateral and client assurance, for example, Mobile Payments on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (MPOC), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) and similar Event management: Manage the coordination and execution of events such as internal events (e.g. team events, year-end functions) and external events (e.g. AWS related events, stakeholder events) Provide high-level, general advice and recommendations to the CEO and relevant employees on marketing activities Amazon Web Services (AWS) Relationship Management:
Attend weekly meetings with the AWS Key Accounts Managers on on-going opportunities and prospects Partner relationship management: Exploring and leveraging the relationships and resources available to clients through AWS Grow, build and develop tactics to work with AWS to unlock Marketing and Business Development funding through Customer Engagement Incentive (CEI), Proof of Concept (POC) Work with the Distributor to unlock the value cases within the AWS Marketing Development Funding (MDF) structure and deploy same within the business Own the AWS lead generation tool – APN Customer Engagement (ACE) – manage opportunities quarterly to maintain AWS Advanced Tier Status in collaboration with leadership team and support marketing initiatives for progression to Premier Tier status If you would like to email your CV directly – please send it to [email protected]
