POSTING NOTICE
As the Marketing Insights & Operations Manager, you will collaborate with Suddath’s global marketing team and internal stakeholders to leverage data sources to derive meaningful insights and communicate actionable recommendations. This critical role is responsible for data management, reporting and marketing operations. This position demands a passion for data-driven decision-making, coupled with strong communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Your responsibilities are divided into three main areas:
1) data management and reporting
2) marketing operations
3) insights and strategy.
These responsibilities will evolve as you lead key projects to completion, including automating reporting via a marketing data warehouse, enhancing the MS Power BI reporting environment
and establishing new operational processes to increase departmental efficiency.
Data Management and Reporting (60%):
Manage the automation and design of our enterprise marketing reporting environment in Power BI, including:
•Developing customized Power BI solutions tailored to unique business needs.
•Integrating and automating data from various systems for seamless reporting.
•Designing and implementing data models, DAX calculations and interactive visualizations in Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making.
•Integrating diverse data sources into Power BI datasets, utilizing Power Query for data transformation and cleansing, and optimizing large dataset query performance.
•Developing scalable and efficient data architectures within Power BI to ensure data integrity, security and compliance.
•Collaborating with data engineers to optimize data pipelines, automate data refreshes and streamline data flows.
•Developing custom Python scripts in Power BI for advanced data analysis and sentiment analysis.
•Reviewing reports for accuracy and functionality, recommending enhancements and managing master data.
•Educating end-users on new reports and dashboards and advocating for Power BI within the marketing organization.
•Act as the in-house expert for our marketing data warehouse, maintaining technical documentation, SOPs and proficiency in SQL for data handling and managing ETL processes.
Marketing Insights and Strategy (30%):
•Collaborate with product line teams and cross-functional teams to develop customer segmentation strategies, integrate customer insights into product development, pricing strategies and
go-to-market plans.
•Provide strategic guidance to leadership through data-driven analysis, scenario modeling and strategic planning to improve marketing channel performance.
•Present findings to stakeholders in a clear manner, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic initiatives.
Marketing Operations (10%):
•Assess current marketing technologies, suggest new solutions for better data and process management and implement new processes using technology to enhance marketing efficiency
and ensure data governance.
•Work with the HubSpot administrator and power users to ensure consistent and accurate data flow. Must have at least a Master’s degree in Management or Business. Must have 12 months of experience in the position or in a related role. Must have completed graduate level coursework in Strategic Marketing in a Digital Economy, Quantitative Approach to Decision Making, and Financial Decision Making. Must be willing travel throughout the United States for business meetings. Job Location: Jacksonville, FL.
