Role
An essential position within the core marketing team, you’ll play a key role in assisting with the delivery of marketing campaigns for shows, tours, clubs, events, and promotional services at our Midlands and regional venues; O2 Academy Birmingham, O2 Institute Birmingham, O2 Academy Leicester, and O2 Academy Oxford.

The Marketing Executive will work closely with the Midlands Regional Marketing Manager, National Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing as well as contributing to a dynamic team to ensure high quality output and service, where collaboration and teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.

Demonstrable experience in a marketing role in music, media, culture, or entertainmentProven track record in delivering successful marketing campaigns and promotional servicesA strong network of local connections and established marketing relationshipsExcellent knowledge of regional marketingExperience managing budgets and marketing spendA solid understanding of ticketingSignificant marketing experience in print, digital, social media platformsUnderstanding of analytic metrics and advertising KPIsKnowledge of Meta advertisingExperience in social media content captureOutstanding attention to detail and sharp reportingProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPointWhat We Need

Assist the Midlands Regional Marketing Manager, National Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to devise and deliver effective marketing campaigns for all shows, tours, clubs, and eventsAssist with coordinating and booking marketing activity across all relevant channels, including print, social and out of home in a timely manner and from conception to completionSupport the Midlands Regional Marketing Manager in the preparation marketing plans that provide valuable and actionable insightAssist in delivering on specific day-to-day promotional activitiesAssist in collaborating with promoter marketing teams to plan and oversee their marketing spendMaintain strong local marketing contactsConstantly evaluate sales performances to bring new initiatives and sales tactics to the Midlands Regional Marketing ManagerBuild in-depth knowledge of your regionForm and maintain a robust network of local distribution for promotional materialAssist in monitoring and maximising all internal and external marketing budgetsWork closely with the Midlands Regional Marketing Manager to Identify additional opportunities to reach new audiences and increase ticket salesWork closely with all Regional Marketing Managers for cross-promotional opportunitiesLiaise with a variety of head office functions including marketing, digital, social and PR for inspiring content and messaging alignmentSupport the Midlands Regional Marketing Manager on broader campaign strategies as requiredContribute to best-practice operations and processesEqual Opportunities
