Title: Marketing Event & Communications Internship
Primary Role: Events
The Marketing Events & Communications Intern will primarily support all events (for two Trimble businesses within Field Services). Working within the Field Services events team, this position will be directly involved in the development and execution of planned user group meetings in 2025 and 2026, as well as marketing support of trade shows, webinars, seminars, workshops and speaking opportunities.
Event Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute targeted email, social media and advertising campaigns for event promotion, ensuring multiple audience groups receive personalized, relevant content. These communications must drive high levels of attendance and engagement. Designing landing pages, show banners, and ordering giveaways/promotional items that are cost-effective and consistent with Trimble branding and policies are also required.
2. Plan the Trimble Applanix 2026 European User group Meeting, including location evaluation, timing, and theme and assist with venue negotiations.
3. User Pardot custom relationship management tool for campaign automation and developing personalized and timely communications.
4. Organize Multiple webinars. This includes working with business leaders to determine topics, create content, design presentation slides and registration pages, and more. This role also ensures lead collection and follow-up.
Secondary Role: Digital Marketing
This position will also be involved in utilizing data analytics tools and reporting systems to advise on how to:
Improve search engine optimization and general discovery of content by target groups.
Analyze and report on email campaigns, web traffic, and channel engagement.
Analyze and report on Googe Ad programs and identify areas for improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field is required
Experience in managing corporate events, email marketing (Pardot or Marketo)
Copywriting, analytics, and content development
Digital strategy and innovation expertise in emerging media technology
Speed, excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and manage expectations of all stakeholders
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, relationship-building skills, and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
Familiarity with digital marketing analysis techniques and reporting
