LTD is seeking a strategic EU Market Director, International Marketing to drive awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation for our Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK), Toxicology, and Bioanalytical services in the European market. This role requires expertise in regional market trends, strategic content development, and performance-based marketing initiatives to support our EU business development team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, marketing leadership, subject matter experts (SMEs), and agency partners to execute impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with regional audiences.

 

LTD International Marketing is a lean, strategic organization operating within a matrixed environment. Critical strategic thinking, decision-making, and demonstrated execution in marketing—not sales support—are key. Successful candidates will know how to build relationships, focus on initiatives that drive impressions and thought leadership, and generate qualified leads. This person will work closely with Product Managers, Meetings, Events, and Tradeshow Managers, and the Commercial Analytics team. Availability for calls with US and CN-based colleagues outside regular business hours is required, with efforts to balance schedules. Additionally, LTD International Marketing is making a strategic push to increase our EU market share, requiring innovative and targeted marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions: The EU Marketing Director will develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the EU market to increase brand awareness, enhance thought leadership, and generate qualified leads. This involves analyzing country- and region-specific market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to inform marketing initiatives and content customization. By gathering and interpreting market intelligence, the EU Market Director will refine positioning and messaging to ensure LTD remains competitive and relevant in the region.

 

A key focus of the role is managing the creation and execution of high-value content in collaboration with product managers and SMEs. This includes determining the appropriate mix of materials, optimizing content for local languages, and overseeing both paid and organic marketing campaigns to ensure alignment with business goals. Additionally, the EU Market Director will partner with the data analytics and HubSpot teams to optimize the customer journey, improving engagement and conversion rates.

 

The role also encompasses managing the promotion of EU conferences and events, securing speaking opportunities for SMEs at key industry events, and tracking key performance metrics through monthly leadership updates and quarterly ROI reports. Continuous testing, refinement, and reporting of marketing strategies will ensure LTD’s initiatives remain effective and aligned with evolving market dynamics, driving maximum impact in the European region.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to strategize, plan, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing programs that drive awareness, perception, and lead generation.Demonstrated ability to show critical thinking and how it played into plans for building awareness, perception, and lead generation when it comes to prioritization, channel selection, resource allocation, course correction and timing of marketing execution. Strong understanding of market dynamics in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.Demonstrated experience and results in planning, executing, and measuring multi-channel marketing campaigns, including content marketing, digital advertising, SEO, and event marketing. 

Experience / Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.7+ years of strategic multi-channel marketing experience - strategize, plan, execute, measure- preferably in the life sciences, CRO, or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on international markets. 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a cross-functional, international environment.Knowledge and evidence of understanding and executing strategic marketing versus marcomm activities.Fluency in English is required; proficiency in one or more European languages is a plus.Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously40% travel required, primarily in the EU region, with occasional trips to the US and CN 

 

Physical Requirements:         

Must be able to work in an office environment with minimal noise conditions. Must be able to wear appropriate PPE if visiting/touring a lab.Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required.   Clarity of Vision.
