Marketing Coordinator
Job Description

Job Summary 

The Marketing Coordinator supports volume-driven marketing initiatives, manages internal and external communications, and enhances the image and reputation of the hospital, affiliated medical group, and other entities. This role collaborates in the development of marketing strategies and actively contributes to community relations, online reputation management, and website maintenance to ensure content remains relevant, compliant, and consumer-focused. 

Essential Functions

Contributes to the creation and management of the facility's annual marketing plan and budget, aligning initiatives with organizational objectives. Assists with internal and external communications, utilizing both earned and owned media to maintain a consistent message. Monitors online platforms to manage the hospital’s online reputation by responding to patient reviews and ratings to promote a positive public image. Participates in community relations efforts, fostering partnerships that support hospital growth and strengthen community ties. Maintains and updates the hospital website to ensure it remains compliant, up-to-date, and consumer-friendly. Assists in tracking the return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs) of marketing activities to assess project effectiveness. May occasionally act as a media contact or spokesperson for the facility, handling inquiries with professionalism and adherence to policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred 0-2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or public relations role required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and public relations strategies, including social media and web management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally across various platforms. Ability to analyze marketing metrics, including ROI and KPIs, to gauge the success of marketing initiatives and make data-driven adjustments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with website content management systems, social media platforms, and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred. Strong collaborative skills to effectively engage with internal teams, external stakeholders, and community partners. High attention to detail with the ability to review content for accuracy, compliance, and brand alignment.
