Key Responsibilities:
This position will lead a team responsible for producing marketing and communications materials to promote brand awareness and public engagement within the targeted segment. Additionally, this role will manage critical aspects of brand guidelines to ensure alignment across all contexts, including development and emergency response contexts.
Marketing Communications Strategy Development & Planning
Develop marketing communications annual plan to increase brand awareness, build trust and reputation, and resource acquisition (fundraising). Develop strategic business processes to ensure the effective production of communication materials.Provide strategic direction for brand alignment and the creation of evidence-based, child-focused, and donor-centric communication materials.Resource Acquisition & Management
Develop an integrated content plan to support organizational activities to raise awareness and enhance public engagement.Oversee the content development team to create appealing and impactful communication products for digital and non-digital channels, ensuring effective marketing and organizational positioning for the target audience.Collaborate with the acquisition team to develop effective communication materials tailored to specific target segments.Create organizational accountability publications to strengthen the organization's positioning and reputation.Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and aligned content creation.Develop innovative and compelling marketing products to increase resource acquisition and awareness for the organization.Conceptualize and organize events to elevate the organization's profile and reinforce its accountability.Manage logistics related to the placement of marketing ads, ensuring timely execution and adherence to deadlines.Primarily oversee external contractors such as videographers, photographers, graphic designers, and other creative professionals.Manage content development assignments from global teams or partners and actively pitch Indonesian content for greater partnership exposure.Support the development of communication plans for grants/contracts and corporate and retail programs.Capacity Building
Provide assistance and support in implementing marketing and communications activities to raise awareness and resources, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and relevant policies (such as Safeguarding).Implement the Public Engagement & Communications capacity-building strategy and plan closely with Operations, People & Culture, and the Regional Office.Enhance the capacity of field staff and implementing partners in content creation (writing, video production, etc.)Management and Leadership
Actively foster and support a positive team environment where staff are encouraged to develop their spiritual gifts and grow in Christian maturity.Actively participate in Christian leadership and enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments, and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we aim to serve.The Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or marketing Minimum 5 years of professional experience in public relations firms, advertising agencies, or a similar role.At least general professional experience with the communications media production process.The candidate must demonstrate a personal faith and unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ, as reflected in WVI’s vision, mission, and core values.The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of “taste” and a deep interest in human-interest and documentary stories, photography, and other forms of creative media.The candidate should possess excellent proficiency in MS Office and other relevant programs. Proficiency in design applications and video editing will be considered a plus.A proven ability to think strategically, manage projects effectively, and meet deadlines is essential.Exceptional interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills are required to collaborate effectively in diverse settings.ONLY a shortlist of applicants will be contacted.
