THE ROLE   

We are seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team in Frisco, TX, who will collaborate with the Legends Creative Department, to help lead marketing efforts for Legends Global Planning and Legends Golf divisions. This person will develop and maintain a wide range of marketing and proposal deliverables. The ideal candidate is a positive, proactive team player with a can-do attitude, who is flexible and self-motivated. The main focus will be to use marketing skills to help power our business leaders to win and grow business.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Work closely with the Global Planning and Golf executives, creative department, and other team members to establish and communicate brand standards across the divisions. Liaise with other divisions to ensure the consistent implementation of our brand attributes. Work as an internal “account manager” for CSL, Project Development, third parties and external agencies, as necessary, and Legends Golf. Manage development of collateral and promotional projects as required, serving at times as project manager and at times quality control. Manage and support all marketing efforts including Request for Proposal responses, brochures, and promotional and content execution. Provide support and management to generate, update and maintain marketing deliverables (project sheets, resumes, marketing material, etc.). Respond to various writing, editing, and image requests. Collect and coordinate database updates for past and current projects. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by senior leaders in the Project Development, Golf, and marketing department. QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
 Minimum of one year of relevant experience with sports, architecture and construction industries a plus Thorough understanding of marketing and branding as well as creative management Proficiency with Microsoft Office
 Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills Exceptional organizational skills: ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing and managing simultaneous projects with competing demands Acute attention to detail Strong creative aptitude, interpersonal and analytical skills Ability to independently define, schedule, and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze Request for Qualification (‘RFQ") and/or Request for Proposal (“RFP”) requirements Demonstrate ability to work within a team structure and proactively seek guidance as needed
 Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

Work Location: On Site

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee consistently is required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
