Job Objectives
Act as the strategic internal communications lead for Micron Taiwan, responsible for designing and executing communication strategies that support business priorities and employee engagement across frontend and backend operations.
This position requires a seasoned communicator with strong cross-cultural fluency who can translate global narratives into impactful local messages. The role involves close collaboration with Asia GCM and US-based Global Communication & Marketing (GCM) teams to align Taiwan’s internal and external narratives with Micron’s worldwide communication goals.
The role will also provide trusted counsel to senior leaders, oversee internal platforms and key engagement moments, and support select external branding and reputation-building initiatives.
Responsibilities
Internal Communications (70%)
Define, develop, and drive Taiwan’s internal communication strategy, aligned with both regional and global GCM priorities.Partner with the US-based GCM team to localize and implement corporate campaigns, executive messaging, transformation communications, and global strategic initiatives.Work closely with PMOs, site leaders, and people team to prioritize messaging for Taiwan’s major sites and projects (e.g., Taichung, Taoyuan, Tainan).Take ownership of MicronNow (site-level) and internal digital signage platforms to deliver site-specific content with strategic relevance.Be the gatekeeper of Micron brand and corporate narratives for site-level internal and external promotions, and provide communication counsel to site stakeholdersBe responsible for contributing content and messaging, reviewing collaterals from corporate, and keeping site profiles updated to fit local site communication needs and fulfill corporate GCM’s requestWork closely with the Taiwan Country Communication Manager to manage local issues and crisis communication.External Communications (30%)
Support manager on planning and executing tier-1 external communication programs in Taiwan with a focus on corporate communications and branding projects, i.e. media events, industry events, 3rd party liaison for key projectsCollaborate with manager and Taiwan TA branding, Asia social/digital team on social media content contribution, influencer projects and etc.Lead key external brand communication projects for Taiwan sites, and sometimes across all Taiwan sites (Taoyuan / Taichung frontend / Taichung backend / Taipei / Hsinchu / Tainan)Qualifications
