Marketing and Communications Intern - College of Engineering
Are you an excellent writer looking for an internship opportunity that will build your skills, portfolio, and network? The College of Engineering Marketing and Communications team is looking to hire an intern!

Our dynamic team includes writers, editors, designers, and multimedia developers who share the stories of our college by translating cutting-edge technical, scientific, and engineering-based content into written and visual stories for a more general audience.

We are looking for creative communicators to help us with a variety of writing and communications projects.

Over the course of the internship, our intern will assist with:

Science writing features and briefsAlumni and student profilesDocumentation
Editing and proofreading
Fundraising materials
Social media contentResearch and benchmarking
Other projects based on skills, abilities, and interestOther duties as assigned

You should demonstrate:

Excellent written and oral communications skillsOutstanding research and interviewing skillsIllustrate reliability, have the ability to work independently and have a sense of creativity
 

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.Skills/experience with design, photography, HTML/CSS, and content management systems are a plus, but not required.

Additional Information:

Interns work a minimum of five hours per week during the semester and up to full-time during the summer.This internship is a paid position.Start date is flexible.When submitting your application, please include a resume and writing sample.
