Position Summary: 

The Market Research Analyst will work directly with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to leverage advanced analytics to improve business performance across a range of functions including marketing, operations, pricing and strategic planning. This individual will be able to collaborate with staff to understand their challenges and opportunities, to design and execute solutions that quantify the value-add of these improvements.

The Market Research Analyst will perform exploratory data analysis, generate and test hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical data, identify patterns in business performance and generally improve the use of data-driven insights to improve outcomes. You will be engaged in data modeling, data mining and statistical analysis to deliver meaningful information to business users that contribute to the core business functions and the customers that Pyle serves.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Analyzing data using statistical software and other tools to identify trends and patterns Creating reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into research objectives Providing recommendations to stakeholders based on research findings Report on the progress of those initiatives and provided documentation or supporting data to reflect that progress Behave in a manner consistent with Pyle’s Core Values to create a spirit of professionalism, teamwork and pride

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, statistics or market research Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, statistics, applied math, economics, econometrics, operations research, market research or a related field 2+ years of experience in Data Science or Market Research 2+ years of experience in a Data Science, Data Analytics, Market Research, or other research-related role Applied statistics skills, such as hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, clustering, various regression techniques, principal components analysis and other techniques Technical knowledge commensurate with data-intensive workflows, including but not limited to hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, time-series forecasting, clustering, various regression techniques, principal components analysis, and other machine learning techniques 2+ years experience with visualization frameworks (such as ggplot, Matplotlib, Plotly, Power BI, Tableau, Altair, etc.) 2+ years experience with Python or R 2+ years experience with SQL Familiarity with creating and maintaining end-to-end machine learning workflows, from hypothesis formation through model selection and tuning to deployment of the end result
