Market Intelligence Manager - Part Time
**Job Description Summary** As a Market Intelligence Manager in a part time role (20 hours per week) on GE HealthCare’s Patient Care Solutions (PCS) Global Marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights on our markets, competitors, and customers by applying your deep market research and competitive intelligence expertise to optimize the impact of our marketing, product development, and strategic planning efforts. This role reports directly to the Insights & Analytics Senior Director. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing primary research efforts, leading competitive intelligence activities, and performing desktop research to deliver insights that help drive PCS’s portfolio roadmaps, new product launches, and understanding of our evolving market. In this role, you will be proactive in collaborating with our Global Product Marketing teams to understand their research needs, determine appropriate approaches to running research studies, engage internal/external research partners, and work hand-in-hand with all stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality reports. In addition to delivering expertise in traditional primary research, you will also provide leadership for our competitive intelligence program by keeping members of the global PCS organization on top of the latest competitor activities, developing competitor briefs, and playing a key role in competitive strategy sessions. We are excited for you to join our team. **Job Description** **Responsibilities:** + Implement both quantitative and qualitative primary research approaches to provide perspectives on market trends, support business/strategic planning, and deliver voice-of-customer (via customer journey mapping, value propositions, messaging/creative validation, product pricing, etc.) + Lead competitive intelligence activities by synthesizing information from public sources, paid intelligence platforms, and human sources (via 3rd party researchers), enabling insight into global industry developments and competitors’ ongoing activities + Manage project activities and relationships with third-party research and competitive intelligence vendors to extend our insights generation capabilities + Coordinate with both internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgets + This is a part time role (20 hours per week) **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Information Management, Public Health / Health Economics, or related field + Minimum of 6 years of market insights/intelligence, marketing, or consulting experience + Minimum of 5 years of experience with project and program management + Minimum of 5 years of experience managing external suppliers **Desired Characteristics:** + 5+ years of healthcare industry experience + Highly analytical with attention to detail for developing research briefs, discussion guides, and research reports, among other research tools + Ability to synthesize disparate sources (e.g., third-party market reports, online resources, competitors’ public documents) and distill into clearly communicated, easy-to-understand insights + Proven ability to manage external suppliers.
